About us
We exist to close the distance between good intentions and real help.
Reconnect Foundation is a registered public charitable trust based in Hyderabad, working across India to turn corporate goodwill and volunteer energy into change communities can feel.
Our story
Why Reconnect exists
We kept seeing the same disconnect. Companies had budgets, willing employees and a genuine wish to help — but no reliable way to turn that into meaningful action. Communities had real, specific needs and deep local knowledge — but little access to the resources sitting a few kilometres away in an office tower.
Reconnect Foundation was started in 2019 as a public charitable trust to be the trusted bridge that carries goodwill all the way to the ground, and then reports back honestly on what happened. Today we run programmes across 8 cities, partner with leading companies, and hold ourselves to a simple standard — if we can't document it and stand behind it, we don't claim it.
Our vision
An India where every willing hand finds meaningful work to do, and every community can call on the resources it needs — connected by trust, not chance.
Our mission
We reconnect people, communities, corporates and volunteers to build sustainable social impact through meaningful partnerships and hands-on volunteering.
What we stand for
Six values we're willing to be measured against
Dignity first
We photograph, name and describe people only with consent. Aid is offered as a partnership between equals, never charity from above.
Radical transparency
We report what we spend, what we achieve and what we get wrong. Trust is earned in the details.
Partnership over patronage
Communities set the priorities; corporates bring resources; we make the two meet and stay connected.
Measurable over memorable
A good photo isn't impact. We track hours, reach and outcomes so the difference is real, not just felt.
People before programmes
Behind every statistic is a person. We design around them, not around our own convenience.
Present, not parachuting
Change that lasts comes from showing up again. We build for the long relationship, not the single visit.
